Rise Fund

Community Fundraising Support UK

Practical help for community groups raising money locally

Community fundraising works when it is organised. Through the Rise Fund we help local groups plan, launch and report on fundraising that neighbours actually join in with.

Where community fundraising income comes from

Local events, challenge fundraising, place-based grants, collections, local businesses and small trusts — usually in combination rather than one big source.

  • Local funder and parish grant research
  • Event and challenge fundraising planning
  • Volunteer fundraiser packs and training

Submit your community project

Any group can submit a project through the Rise Fund. Approved projects appear publicly on the site with a clear goal and progress.

Frequently asked

Do we need to be a registered charity?
No. Unregistered community groups and constituted associations can submit a project, though some funders will require a constitution and a bank account.

Submit your community project to the Rise Fund for review.
