Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. We take a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, exploitation, harassment and any behaviour that puts children or vulnerable adults at risk.

We uphold the values set out by the UK Charity Commission and the Fundraising Regulator, and expect the same from every organisation we partner with.

• Children and young people who benefit from our campaigns.
• Adults at risk in the communities we serve.
• Learners enrolled on Quins Aid Courses.
• Staff, contractors, volunteers and everyone working with us.

• We carry out proportionate due diligence on charity partners and grantees before funds are released.
• Staff and volunteers receive safeguarding guidance appropriate to their role.
• Roles that involve contact with children or adults at risk are subject to appropriate background checks.
• We keep data about safeguarding matters confidential and share it only on a strict need-to-know basis.

If you have a safeguarding concern about anyone connected to Quins Aid or one of our funded projects, please tell us. You can:

• Email our safeguarding lead in confidence at info@quinsaid.com.
• Write to us at Quins Aid Limited, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
• If a person is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services first.

Concerns are acknowledged within three working days and assessed by our safeguarding lead. Where necessary we will refer matters to the relevant statutory authority.
